Some people think that I randomly pick ANY crystal for a customer BUT I don't I will actually be drawn to a specific one for a customer because all energies are different & I will feel for whatever reason that a customer needs the energy of that specific crystal :-)

Some crystal are have particularly strong energies. Every person is differen just like every crystal is different. In my own personal experience depending on the time in my life if I am around malachite it can be extremely overwhelming & I experience very bad headaches. The reason why this happens is some crystals especially malachite absorb energy. In this instance the malachite was acting as a form of detox. I don't if you have ever tried going sugar free or any kind of cleanse or detox you can feel horrendous after a couple of days whilst your body is adjusting & getting rid of all of those nasty toxins. Some crystals have exactly the same effect.

The best way to think of a lab grown crystal is to think if it like growing tomatoes in a green house. A green house serves the purpose of keeping the seeds & plants at peak environment conditions to give it the best chances of survival. Well lab grown crystals have exactly the same principal, their components are the same as if they were dug up from the earth however they've been put in the best possible environment for it to grow & fluorish. So NO in my opinion a lab grown crystal is NOT artificial. Would you say a tomatoe grown in a green house is artificial because it wasn't grown without protection from the elements?....

Yes! A man made crystal is still made up of natural properties such as iron, zink, copper etc. Any item containing natural materials will have the ability to carry those particular properties even in it's new form.

Unfortunately I see it more & more every day where suppliers are selling heat treated amethyst as citrine. It is NOT the same. There's a few ways you can tell. Citrine is more of a yellow colour, you will find heat treated amethyst however is more of a dark orange-brown colour. Some suppliers & sellers may even have what their calling citrine in the same area as the amethyst. You will find that heat treated amethyst typically has a darker colour at the tips of the point's & you can sometimes even see the chevrons (dream amethyst lines on the crystal). Natural citrine unless it's smokey or has some quartz will be quite translucent unlike the heat treated amethyst.
